We’ve been busy, busy, busy over here at FoodFight! As our schools are in the end of the second part of their semester, they are focusing on reconstructing their views of food after learning about media literacy, food politics and much more. Our nutritionists and chefs have been spending time in the classroom with students to work on cooking skills as well as making nutritional and healthy decisions everyday when it comes to meals and snacking.
The students from Harlem Children’s Zone have been working with Food Fight nutritionist Courtney to learn about nutrients that feed our bodies and how we can make sure to be eating well so we feel well every day. Thumbs up for healthy snacking!
